First Haircut

This past Saturday, we took Selena for her first haircut. We just wanted a trim for the back. Since she had several different layers and very fine hair, we were hoping the trim might help thicken it up....

The hairdresser asked "Do you want the top cut?"

I replied "No, I don't want her to have bangs"

She must have asked me the same question 3 times..... then I decided it might be good to trim the ends on the front too, so I said to her "Just a TINY bit, I don't want bangs"

And, in one snip of the scissors, my daughter had bangs.... the hairdresser wanted to cut them some more, but I quickly said "NOOOO, because now I have to grow these out!" I think she knew I wasn't happy!

Bryan likes her bangs, he thinks she looks cute. I think she's adorable and she can see better without all that wispy hair in her eyes, but I still don't like bangs.

Thank goodness the haircut only cost $2
