2 Weeks

It's hard to believe, but as of yesterday, baby Bree is already 2 weeks old. My how time flies!

She had her check-up yesterday and she weighed in at 7lbs 11oz, so she's gained almost a pound over her birth weight, which is awesome. I'm not surprised though, she nurses more often and longer than any of my other kids, which has earned her the nickname "my little piglet"!

We still haven't found a routine yet.... I'm hoping that comes soon. She's still pretty sleepy, but does tend to have some wakeful periods in the morning and around 9pm at night. Some nights she sleeps pretty good, but others, well.... not so good. She doesn't cry at night, she just has trouble getting her burps to come up- which means I have to sit in bed and hold her upright against my chest..... she loves to sleep in this position, but it's harder for Mommy to get rest like that.

She still seems small and thats fine with me- I'm in no hurry for her to grow up!
