Our Terrific Kid

Last night we got a surprise phone call from Athena's teacher.... but it was a good thing!

She had chosen Athena to receive the "Terrific Kids" award for their class this month!

It was based on her quiet, but helpful and caring nature, as well as a heartfelt poem she wrote about her baby sister....

I was so glad that Bryan and I were able to be at the awards ceremony this morning and get some nice pictures of our "terrific" kid receiving her award!

Way to go Athena!
