Visit to St. Catharines

On January 19 we visited with Bryan's parents and sister who live in the St. Catharines area. We started out the day not knowing if we could go, since Picton was a total white-out. Bryan called around to all the cab companies from here to Brighton and determined that the snow squalls were only happening in town, so around 9am, we packed up the kids and the dog and headed out, about an hour or so behind schedule!

We dropped Lucky-dog off to spend the day with Louisa and Bill, who so graciously offerred to take care of her for the day, so we could go away. Then from there we headed out on the highway for the 3 hour drive..... The highway was clear and the traffic wasn't bad, but it still seemed to take a long time to get there.

We got to St. Catharines around 1pm and stayed until about 7:30pm. We had a blast playing (and watching everyone else play) the Wii and the kids had fun playing with their cousins. It's so nice to see everyone again, it seems like a long time since we last got together, even though it was only last July. Hard to believe that Selena was still a little baby then, not even walking!
