And so, I would rather have everyone hear it (or read it I guess...) directly from the horse's mouth than find out through the grapevine.... Can you tell that I am beating around the bush? Okay! Okay! Enough already, I'm sure you all must be totally frustrated with me by now....
Since early November, we have been on a bit of a roller coaster ride, good days, bad days, sick days, and at times wondering how in the world we could (or would) survive it all....
Just out of curiousity.....
Remember my diet? I lost over 20lbs and my goal was to have lost 35lbs by my birthday in February? Yeah, thats not going to happen.....
Did anyone notice that there was a few months there where I seemed overtired and like a zombie at work? Well, I think I was a bit preoccupied.....
Did anyone clue in when this coffee addict was suddenly sick at the thought of drinking my beloved cup of Timmy's? That was soooo hard.....
Have you guessed it yet? I'm sure you have an idea by now......
I'll just answer the question......
Am I pregnant? YES
HA! HA! Okay, so I'll give you all a moment to recover from that information and when you are ready, you can continue reading.
So, heres the need-to-know particulars:
- We found out in early November
- I suffered aweful morning-noon-evening sickness for about 2 months
- My due date is July 14th, 2008, so that makes me about 17 1/2 weeks along
- I have been feeling movement since 14 weeks
- For a little while we were worried it was twins- as I was measuring big for dates, but we were recently able to confirm that there is only 1 in there!
- My ultrasound is booked for Feb. 22, so we should know then if its a girl or boy
- We have a 3D ultrasound scheduled for Mar 1 in Whitby (weather permitting) This should be fun! We get 30 minutes of viewing time, 2 pictures, a CD of all the photos and a DVD of the whole session
- The kids are excited- James is really hoping for a little brother this time, but I'm thinking that a girl would be easier, as I already have all the "girlie" stuff!
I figured that I really needed to starting telling everyone, as my growing belly is tired of being stuffed into pants that are way too tight and wearing my maternity wardrobe would almost certainly give me away!
Even I'm still in disbelief that I'm having baby #6! But here we go.......
