Christmas Concert

This past Wednesday was the much anticipated Christmas concert for the primary grades at our school. It was also the night of a staff meeting at work, which I missed so I could watch the kids perform.

But, after I got home from work, it almost looked as though I would have to end up staying home with 2 sick kids, while Bryan took Athena. James had got off the bus that afternoon running a fever and not feeling well, Bryssa too, looked like she was under the weather. But, after some medication, they both said they felt well enough to go, and off we went to be there for 6:30pm.

When we arrived at the school, we got the kids off to their classrooms to get ready. While in the JK room, Bryssa's teacher informed me that Bryssa had turned down the part of Mary because she wanted to wear the special angel wings her Dad had made for her....... I was a little disappointed, but at the same time, it was nice that the wings were special to her!

James' class was all angels as well.... He was supposed to wear a white shirt and pants (what kind of 5 year old boy owns a white pair of pants?), but since he didn't have white pants, we had to settle for beige.... he still looked really cute!

Athena's class were elves...... so she had to wear a green shirt, red pants and an elf hat! She didn't want the ears though.... what a sweetie!
