This Halloween we were all sick, but somehow managed to get out trick-or-treating and have a good time. James was a firefighter, Athena was Erika from Princess & the Pauper, Bryssa was a Barbie princess and Selena was "the great pumpkin" (an honor we bestow on our littlest trick or treater for their first night out) Remington stayed home and handed out candy, which was a little bitter-sweet, because this was the first year he didn't go out for loot. It made me feel old that he's so grown up now! With the kids feeling sick, we didn't go far before they were asking to go home. But it all turned out well, they handed out candy and had just as much fun as if they were trick-or-treating themselves. It was nice to see them as excited about giving as receiving!
